COY is a lifestyle and events company, showcasing Birmingham's best locations and clubs. Run fortnightly, the venue changes each time to offer the customer a variety of different entertainment aiming to re-establish the standard in nighttime entertainment. COY culture encourages the unique, the humble and the unexpected.
The nightlife industry was saturated with brands that rarely offer a feeling of culture or inclusion, loosing out on the opportunity to inspire a following, often turning to generic means of promotion such as drink offers or lineups to sell an event, not engaging with the audience failing to offer an experience or generating a creditable network of avid consumers.
The identity needed to have a unique but welcoming feel, able to have changing visuals for each venue or lifestyle promotion while also adaptable to the different spin offs or facets of the brand, COY Events, COY Culture, COY Aprés and further in to the future.
In direct consultation with the Managing Director I developed a logo, colourways, typography both print and digital marketing materials, photographed the selected models on site as well as the events, built the initial website and on occasion delivered videos having both recorded and edited them.
